Wishing...

Hey guys!

If you check my blog at all, you probably have noticed a few changes here! I'm excited that things are coming along behind the scenes, and I'm immensely grateful for all of your patience for putting up with my horrible "site." Things will continue to improve in the coming year, so keep an eye out for that.

In the meantime though, I hope you'll take a look around and let me know what you think about the blog so far! Thank you again for all your patience with me. :)

Kelsey | Model

I couldn't have asked for a better day to have a photo shoot! Well, actually I could've done without the humidity BUT that aside, it was a gorgeous day for photography. It was bright but overcast which made for aazing lighting alal around... Not too sunny and not too dark.

Meet Kelsey, my friend and model for the day. I had so much fun working with her for this shoot, and I'm so excited about the results! I must've texted her a million times about how happy I was with the pictures and how great they turned out and on and on and on... Haha! Seriously, I get so excited when I take a good picture!

Ring Shot!

My first ring shot! I know it's not perfect, but besides the less-than-perfect quality, it turned out great! Someday when I get a macro lens, my ring shots will be AMAZING!

I may not be the best photographer (yet) but when a picture turns out well it gives me the greatest satisfaction. That's how I know I want to be a photographer... nothing else I do makes me as happy as when the technique I'm learning is mastered or when I get a perfect picture. I don't have the most professional tools right now, and I know only a poor craftsman blames his tools, but I know that someday when I get a good lens (if nothing else) my pictures will be worth buying. I'm so excited for this and I'm thrilled to have a small group of people supporting me and my dreams from the beginning. <3

Mackenzie | Senior

Yesterday I had the privilege of taking Mackenzie's senior photos! Mackenzie's decided to break up her session into a few mini sessions because one of her locations took all day to get to, so you'll be seeing Mackenzie again sometime soon!

It was so fun to just hang out with Mackenzie and her family for the day yesterday. I can't wait to show you all of the pictures! :)
